Terms and Conditions
Last updated 30 September 2026
These terms apply when you use this website or order from Pharmalister Health Experience Center ("we", "us", "our"), a community pharmacy at 100 Iju Road, Agege, Lagos. Please read them before you place an order. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them.
Medicines are not like other goods. Some of these terms exist to keep you safe, and some are required of us as a pharmacy. If anything is unclear, ask our pharmacist before you order.
1. Who we are
Pharmalister Health Experience Center is a community pharmacy at 100 Iju Road, Agege, Lagos, Nigeria.
We operate under the supervision of a superintendent pharmacist. Premises licence: PCN licence number: to be confirmed. Superintendent pharmacist: to be confirmed.
You can reach us on +234 807 665 0000 or at [email protected].
2. Health information is not medical advice
Product descriptions, shelf groups and the information on this site are there to help you find and compare products. They are not a diagnosis and not a substitute for advice from a doctor or pharmacist.
Always read the label and the leaflet. Tell our pharmacist about your other medicines, any allergies, and if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or buying for a child or an older person. If you feel unwell after taking a medicine, stop and seek medical help.
In an emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital. Do not use this website or WhatsApp for emergencies.
3. Prescription medicines
Products marked "Prescription only" are medicines that the law says may only be supplied against a valid prescription. You can order them from us, but we will not hand them over until our pharmacist has checked your prescription.
- The prescription must be valid and written by a registered prescriber, and it must fit the medicine, strength and quantity you ordered.
- Bring the original prescription when you collect, together with a photo ID. The person collecting must be able to show both.
- Our pharmacist uses professional judgement and may decline, reduce or change a supply, or contact your prescriber, if it is not safe or not lawful to supply it as ordered.
- If you cannot show a valid prescription, we will not release the prescription items in your order, and we will not charge you for them or will refund what you have paid.
When you order through this site you will be asked to confirm that you understand this before we accept the order.
4. Controlled medicines
Controlled medicines, such as strong painkillers, sleeping tablets and anxiety medicines, are not sold on this website, by WhatsApp or by delivery. They are supplied in the shop only, against a valid prescription and photo ID, and each supply is recorded in our controlled drugs register as the law requires.
If a controlled medicine appears to be offered on this site, it is a mistake. Please tell us.
5. How ordering works
You can fill a basket on this site and send it to us on WhatsApp so that we can confirm it with you, or you can visit the shop. Delivery is arranged on WhatsApp, and the delivery fee is paid by you.
An order is only accepted once we have confirmed it with you. Until then it is a request, and we may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock, is not safe to supply, or we suspect an error or misuse.
We supply medicines for personal use or for someone in your care. We may limit quantities, and we will not supply more than is reasonable for one person.
6. Prices and VAT
Prices are in Nigerian naira. They come from the pharmacy and can change without notice. Some products carry VAT at 7.5%, which is added to the price and shown in your basket before you order. The price we confirm when we accept your order is the price you pay.
If we find that a price on the site was wrong, we will tell you before we accept the order, and you can choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel and be refunded.
7. Payment
You pay when you collect your order, or as we agree with you on WhatsApp, for example by cash, card at the shop or bank transfer. We will tell you the total, including any VAT and delivery fee, before you pay.
If you pay by bank transfer, please use your order number as the reference. We treat an order as paid only when the money has reached our account.
8. Stock and availability
The shop sells from the same shelves as the website. We keep some stock back for the counter, and someone can buy the last item in the shop while your order is being prepared. If an item in your paid order is no longer available, we will tell you, supply what we can, and you will only pay for what we supply. If you have already paid, we will try to source the item or refund the difference. When items are sourced, prices may vary from the price on the site, and we will tell you before we supply them.
9. Collection
We will tell you when your order is ready. Collect it during our opening hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00am to 9:00pm; Sunday, 2:00pm to 9:00pm. Bring your order number.
We keep a ready order for a reasonable time. If you cannot collect it, please contact us. If an order is not collected and we cannot reach you, we may cancel it and refund anything you have already paid, less any cost we cannot recover where the law allows. Medicines are checked again at handover, and a medicine that is close to its expiry date or has been affected by storage will not be handed over.
10. Cancellations, returns and refunds
You can cancel an order before we have started preparing it by contacting us as soon as possible. After that, we may not be able to cancel it.
For safety, we cannot take back medicines once they have left the pharmacy, because we cannot be sure how they have been stored. This does not affect your legal rights. We will replace or refund an item that is the wrong product, damaged, expired or recalled, or that we supplied in error. Tell us as soon as you notice, before you use it, and keep the packaging and your order number.
Refunds are made by the method we agree with you, such as bank transfer, and we will tell you how long it will take. A refund for an item we could not supply, or could not release without a valid prescription, is made in the same way.
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under Nigerian consumer protection law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act.
11. Genuine products and reporting a problem
We buy our medicines from licensed suppliers and we only sell products that are registered in Nigeria. Where a product has a NAFDAC registration number, we show it.
If you think a product is faulty, fake, or has caused a side effect, tell our pharmacist straight away. We record and act on these reports, and you can also report to NAFDAC.
12. Using this website
- Give us correct details, and use the site only for lawful purposes.
- Do not try to buy medicines for resale, to get around a prescription or quantity limit, or to buy controlled medicines.
- Do not interfere with the site, test its security without our written permission, or use automated tools to collect its content.
We may suspend or refuse service where these rules are broken. We work to keep the site available, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted.
13. Our content
The site, its design, text and our logo belong to us or to the people who license them to us. Product names and images belong to their owners. You may use the site for your own shopping but may not copy or reuse it for another business without our written permission.
14. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for supplying the products you order with reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Apart from that, we are not liable for loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach, for a medicine used other than as directed, or for delays or failures caused by things outside our control, such as power or network failures or a payment provider being unavailable.
15. Your personal data
How we collect and use your details is explained in our Privacy Policy. Please read it.
16. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction, without taking away any right you have to go to another court or regulator where the law gives you one.
If you are unhappy with something, please tell us first at [email protected] or +234 807 665 0000, and we will try to put it right. Governing bodies may include Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
17. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when the law or our services change. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. An order is governed by the terms that were in force when you placed it.
